Gotham Knights officially canceled by The CW before its first season even ends. Never bothered to watch it cause it looked "naff".

Meanwhile, Superman & Lois was actually renewed for a season 4, which will be 10 episodes. I really should give this another go, as a big Superman fan.... only watched maybe 1 or 2 eps of Season 2.....

As a big Superman fan, I should also check that out

Due to "budget concerns" they have slashed all of Superman & Lois' main cast members except for Superman/Lois and their two kids, also added Michael Cudlitz's Lex Luthor to the main cast for season 4 to replace the other 7 regular cast members they cut. They could still appear but just as "recurring" or "guest" spots.

I hear rumours that The Authority may also appear/be introduced in the movie.... which I hate. Just let the Superman movie be a Superman movie please.

He was great in The Politician and Hollywood (both shows are from Ryan Murphy.) I need to see this lois and clark on screen together but i like the potential

Just watched the episodes of this show that are out.... I think it has been pretty sweet.... nice take on the "IP"....

Forgot to comment on all the Superman: Legacy news that came out while I was on vacation...

Metamorpho, Mr. Terrific, Hawkgirl, and Green Lantern Guy Gardner were all cast to appear in the movie. (Nathan Fillian as Guy Gardner).

Seems like maybe it is already falling for old DCEU missteps in trying to do and introduce too much.... just make a good Superman movie that focuses just on telling a good Superman story. It shouldn't be that hard.

I just finished The Flash(tv show) and have to say it could have ended a lot worse.

Now the 1st part of the 4 part finale was actually the best part of the finals, and should been the 4th part. Still though it wasn’t bad. Also the Stephen Amell episode had some really good moments.

The season has a whole was terrible though, and I’m glad it’s over.

The new superman animated series was really good. Strongly recommend it

I watched the 1st 5 eps. Its nearly the perfect representation of the characters

It truly is a great modernization and just feels so good to see a genuinely caring and good Clark Kent/Superman.

This animated series is legitimately the only version of the character i ever want to see ever again

I saw there was a big petition to add the CW Flash to the Patterson Batman 'verse. Uhhh...no, dawg. Let's keep it a grounded detective world without the supes.

btw, I really enjoyed the Flash movie. Ezra's headlines and the superhero fatigue gave it a bad rep.

I dont believe superhero fatigue exists. Bad script fatigue does though.


And yeah The Flash was pretty solid. But miller tanked his own film so its moot.

I think superhero fatigue definitely exists, and it has been just exacerbated by bad scripts and odd choices

Also DC movies in the this whole Snyderverse or DCEU is the proper name have a real negative stigma to them. Even though I like most of them they are in definite need of a reboot.

They need to wipe the slate clean.

2 Years ago the highest grossing super hero film ever released and its far and away the top grossing film of the decade, especially domestically. Far From Home. The only two films in the genre above it in gross are Infinity War and Endgame. Thats just 2 years ago. Since then the offerings have been pretty weak and the ticket sales reflect that. If a strong IP is on the marquee with a good hook people will go and in historically consistent numbers.

I dont know how to fix the branding issue. I think it needs a rest so it can come back fresh and get people hyped again but one must see movie could turn the thing around so hopefully they knock it out of the park.

Season finale of My Adventures with Superman was great, as expected. Already super bummed out at no episode next week. Season 2 renewal or I break things.

If no season 2 Id get it because ive no one talk about this show but you and I and animation is pretty expensive

I don't really hear anyone talk about Harley Quinn and that's on season 4. (I haven't been enjoying this season too much)

Its been ok. Quinn with the bat family has been amusing but ivy at the LOD hasnt hit for me

The set up for the finale has potential to be hilarious

In comics talk.... I'm re-reading the "DC Rebirth" series "Green Lanterns".... forgot how freaking good it was, and how awesome the team of Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz was.... sucks that ever since the end of that series (even before the end of that series really) they have really been pushed aside and squandered.....

They are both so much better characters/more interesting than the two "biggest" Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan and Jon Stewart.....

Whoa. Hadn't read any of the revived series... was waiting for all 12 issues to come out but now it looks like maybe the last 3 (or 4, I forget) might never see the light of day?

Really enjoyed Fables. Admittedly it does go downhill after a certain point.

Superman & Lois confirmed to be ending with Season 4.

I'm a big Superman guy so I really should go and watch it.... but don't feel motivated to, especially after the excellent "My Adventures With Superman". To go back to just "this is ok, I guess" would be a let down.

After Adventures i really dont have a need for anything else. You arent going to nail it better.

Fairly indifferent to this news. Neither like nor hate him.

Some braud was also cast as The Engineer from The Authority and it is "rumoured" that The Authority may be the main antagonists..... (before getting their own movie down the line)

Feel like ever since DC shutdown WildStorm and merged their universes they have been trying real hard to make the WildStorm characters a "thing" but they never catch on and they've just keep being randomly shoved into stories and places to try to make them a "thing".... then it doesn't catch on and they go away until the next time they are awkwardly tried to be made a thing.....

Got an Amazon gift card through work and randomly splurged it on this massive tome. Thicc as hell... could definitely kill a man with it

Never read it before. Two issues in and already blown away by the art in this issue of Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen....

Finally passed the halfway point of that beast. Definitely a bit dated sometimes but I'm enjoying it a lot.
