She probably used the ability right before I caught her.

Heisenberg 06-21-2018 01:31 PM

This game looks incredible on my PC, been missing the hell out

Kalyx triaD 06-28-2018 02:46 AM

Sombra will be infinite cloak and translocator soon. In return she'll have her cloak sprint speed nerfed and can't capture a point while invisible. She'll also be able to camcel her locator since it's no longer limited.

These really good ideas, so they'll be nerfed fairly quickly.

Shadow 06-28-2018 08:13 AM

That translocator is gonna be terribly underused.

alvarado52 06-28-2018 12:50 PM

And our next character is....

It already is. I see so many sombras dying in the killfeed, when she literally has the best escape option in the game.

Fignuts 06-28-2018 10:12 PM

lol I fucking love it. All the edgelords are pissed off and threatening to level the game because Blizzard put a hamster in their VERY SERIOUS shooter.

Fignuts 06-28-2018 10:42 PM

Omg omg omg

Naturally lots of people pointed out the game has a talking monkey super genius, so now all these fucking space cadets are posting gorilla facts to try and reason that Winston is super serious.

Ahahaha this is the best day ever.

I'm maining wrecking ball now.

Kalyx triaD 06-28-2018 11:48 PM

Where the fuck is this happening? Reddit?

Shadow 06-29-2018 10:19 AM

Probably. Or other social media.

Destor 06-29-2018 11:35 AM

the hamster makes me want to play this

They got a friend in me

Curtis 07-20-2018 10:53 AM

I got banned from Overwatch for a whole week because a bunch of people complained over me typing "AYY LMAO" in chat after I killed them and apparently it's "disruptive" and "absusive chat". Ayy Lmao. This is the stupidest reason I ever got banned from a game, for some reason the Overwatch community is the worst bunch of sissies I ever played with.

Hit up COD World War II and people are calling each other homos and dissing each other mom's.
I mean, getting banned over "Ayy Lmao" is a new record in history.

Shadow 07-20-2018 12:02 PM

God you're just.....god.

Im just...an old school gamer. Gaming online has become a lot worse since casuals started flooding the market in the 2000's. Back in the day, we could trash talk in games all day and it was A LOT worse than saying "Ayy Lmao" or teabagging someone. If you can't handle BANTS in an online shooter, maybe you should play Farmville.

Seriously, the OW community is the worst online community I've ever played in. These people seem to look for things to be offended by. I miss the late 90's in Quake where we used to curse each other out all the time during matches, that's back when REAL adults played. Now it's a bunch of petty children and people who have no idea what gaming is, or what the history of first person shooters is because all the gaming they did before buying Overwatch was Mario and Facebook games.

I guess ADULTS are sticking to COD and Battlefield.

Fignuts 07-20-2018 12:34 PM

lol

Kalyx triaD 07-20-2018 02:38 PM

Sombra's slight rework is finalized and will launch soon.
- Infinite Cloak
- - Can't contest points.
- - 75% speed boost > 50%
- - Can be detected at longer range.
- Infinite Translocator plant
- - Can be destroyed by enemies.
- - Can be canceled.
- - Louder sound cue to warn enemies.

Torb Rework set for PTR
- Can toss turret a short distance.
- - Turret sets itself to lvl2 by default.
- Ult will be changed.

Shadow 07-20-2018 05:39 PM

Torb's getting the rework brush? Interesting choice on that as he's fairly solid to begin with.

Kalyx triaD 07-20-2018 06:43 PM

Their current philosophy is reducing the circumstancial effectiveness of the roster so they work in more game modes and remove 'troll pick' stigma.

Drakul 07-21-2018 07:14 AM

The only thing I dislike about Torb is his instantly auto-locking, 100% accuracy turret.

I wish the turret would either take a sec to spot you and lock on or it would miss a shot every now and then or you could crouch/sneak up behind it and it wouldn't react to you until you attacked it or made noise with movement. Something, anything that didn't make it frustrating to take on.

I'm usually D.Va so I can typically dispatch it pretty well but when I'm someone like Sombra or anyone else who isn't a tank, it sucks. I'm sure that's the point but at least give me a chance against it. Maybe it would work a dream if teams were actually co-ordinated against it but that's a rarity and a half in my experiences and I've been playing since the beta.

Torb is awesome besides that, though, in my opinion.

Kalyx triaD 07-21-2018 10:49 AM

I was telling a buddy of mine that the 'snap' aiming of it is the real issue and it could stand to have slower re-aim.

Drakul 07-22-2018 11:39 AM

Yeah. I played a couple of multiplayer games of Star Wars Battlefront II months ago and, if I understood correctly, turrets in that game would spot you, lock on for a sec, bleep then open fire.
At least, that's how it looked the couple of times I saw them in action.

I'd be totally cool with Torbs turret doing the same. It gives you a chance to either try and take it out or back off the point/payload.

Shadow 07-22-2018 03:07 PM

The Engie's turrets in TF2 do that and nobody seems to mind.

Yeah Torb's turrets need a slight nerf.

alvarado52 07-23-2018 03:27 PM

I dont mind the auto-locking, but do mind the distance of the auto-lock.

Kalyx triaD 07-24-2018 05:18 PM

Hamster's hilarious.

Drakul 07-25-2018 04:28 AM

I haven't played Overwatch since a little before Symmetra's rework.
I hopped on to try her and Hammond out and Hammond seems pretty fun. Didn't go outside the training area but I like how he feels. He seems like a faster D.Va but with Spider-mans swing and Marios ground pound. All good.

Symmetras new set-up is cool but I have to bind "interact" to something to enter her portal and I'm using every button already. So, what am I supposed to do? What's everyone elses layouts?

Fignuts 07-25-2018 04:46 AM

L3 for interact

Kalyx triaD 07-25-2018 02:22 PM

I put the function on dpad-left. I already set L3 to another thing.

Shadow 07-25-2018 03:46 PM

Hamster is interesting. Have to play with him a bit. Symetra's new kit is outstanding.

alvarado52 07-26-2018 10:11 PM

Man...been running with the new Sombra. She's lethal.

Curtis 08-08-2018 03:07 PM

Kinda getting really bored with the game @50 hours. It needed more variety in maps, they all have the same objective of moving the payload. They should've added things like planting explosives, defusing bombs, escorting an NPC etc.
Also it doesn't help that theres no scoreboard, kinda takes the fun away when you can't play to "top the scoreboard".

Ruien 08-10-2018 11:57 AM

Went 8 and 2 in LucioBall and barely made diamond. Wth?

Have a lower comp score in Lucio Ball than regular comp. Bullcrap.

Kalyx triaD 08-21-2018 06:44 AM

Orisa on that map is mandatory.

Drakul 11-20-2018 07:14 AM

Thoughts on Ashe?

I like her a lot. She feels so flexible and powerful, to me, she's arguably OP. Also, is it just me or is she easier to score headshots with?

Drakul 11-20-2018 12:51 PM

I've probably ranted about this before but Mystery Heroes needs a Hero or Role cap of some type. Probably Role cap.

I'm just out of a match in which the enemy (on defence) had a Bastion, a Torb, Three Roadhogs and a D.Va. My team were getting healers left and right with the occasional Pharah or Soldier.
We managed to take out Bastion who then became a Torb. So it's now two Torbs, three Hogs and a D.Va. Practically Impenetrable.
In the last minute, we took out the Torb who then became a FOURTH ROADHOG!

I know the Arcade is for fun but, come on, we need some kind of balance.

I'm not upset, I just feel it's a little ridiculous that Mystery Heroes can play out like this.

Most of the time, the mode boils down to who can get 3+ tanks first.

Kalyx triaD 11-20-2018 02:04 PM

I don't like Mystery Heroes unless forced to play but some kind of minimum role check should be added to make sure you don't end up with a lame comp. The Hero selection screen can read unbalanced comps so it's odd to me this isn't factored into Mystery selection.

Ashe is a good all around Hero. Many of the DLC Heroes were very specific or gimmicky and Ashe comes off as a dropped launch character. Very straight forward.

Fignuts 11-20-2018 02:17 PM

I guess because of the nature of mystery heroes I don't care if I lose, or even get rolled. I just look at it as practice and have fun with whoever they give me.

Agreed on the headshots for Ashe. I noticed myself getting a lot more headshots with her. Pharah also seemed a lot easier to hit. Maybe her default sensitivity is better. I dunno.
