Me thinks they shouldn't have.

Would have just been confusing for people. These are two separate universes/stories/versions of the characters here.

Lock Jaw 09-04-2014 08:36 PM

I hope Ubu is in the show and gets to yell "INFIDEL!"

McLegend 09-04-2014 08:37 PM

I don't know it would have been awesome to see A-List badass 20 million a movie Liam Neeson on a CW show.

No one ever would have called that.

OMG YES

Tom Guycott 09-18-2014 04:04 AM

With WWE's penchant for assuming fans will get "confused", they likely won't invite him because whilst cross promoting Arrow, they'll think the fans will confuse him for The Hurricane. [/sarcasm]

McLegend 10-09-2014 12:02 AM

Arrow is da bomb.

That's all I got right now.

McLegend 10-09-2014 12:07 AM

I love it so much.

McLegend 10-09-2014 12:20 AM

Like what they are doing with Olicity is exactly what they should do. Felicity has to get with a few dudes now, and Oliver has to be alone this season.

I really enjoyed the conversation on the date, and the way they interacted throughout the whole episode. The Hospital was bitter sweet.

Brandon Routh also displayed more charisma and personality in 5 mins he was on Arrow then he did throughout the 2.5 hours he was in Superman Returns. Good job Brandon Routh.

DaveBrawl 10-09-2014 07:17 AM

I agree with McLegend.

ClockShot 10-09-2014 08:34 AM

SPOILER: show
Hmph. Caity Loitz whacked in the last 30 seconds. Didn't see that coming.

Pete Stormare's schedule must be killer these days. Going back and forth between Blacklist and Arrow.

Dark-Slicer Diago 10-09-2014 08:34 AM

Great season premier last night.

SPOILER: show
Bringing Canary back and then killing her was surprising but I figured it would happen eventually to make "Dinah" Laural Lance the Black Canary we all know. The real question now is was it Ra's league that did it, was it Ra's himself or was it Merlin?

Lock Jaw 10-09-2014 10:59 PM

I hope some more is done with Sara... reveal some of what happened while she was gone, and why she was really back, etc...

Feel like she needs more of a "closure"

McLegend 10-09-2014 11:47 PM

According to reports there will be.

Honestly, my reaction was about the same as "Inuyasha: Episode Infinity" parody about Kikyo and the cliff. They already have a track record of bringing people back as opposed to not, so let's see how legit this ends up staying.

Lock Jaw 10-11-2014 01:16 AM

I got a Starman #1 vibe from it, so I'm gonna say she is dead.... barring flashbacks and ghostly apparitions.

McLegend 10-11-2014 07:41 AM

It does seem to obvious that Merlin did it so it's probably not Merlin.

However I'm going to say it's Merlin.

loopydate 10-11-2014 08:49 AM

I don't know . I feel like the League is probably less than happy that she turned up in Starling...

McLegend 10-11-2014 09:18 AM

Not if she was sent there to kill someone.

loopydate 10-11-2014 10:28 AM

Hm. Valid.

McLegend 10-12-2014 10:22 PM

What did everyone think about the New Count Vertigo?

He's getting pretty negative reviews mostly because if the similarities to the Scarecrowe, which I understand. I liked him though, because he does seem like he could be a legit threat to Arrow.

One of my on,y complaints about the show so far is they haven't done a great job of building up the villians of the week. They are mostly jobbers. Example being how they didn't do The Clock King any favors last year. Seems like the only one they wanted to be was Seth's Gabriel's Vertigo, but that probably didn't work out the way they wanted it to.

So I hope we see more of the new Count Vertigo in the future.

DaveBrawl 10-13-2014 08:26 AM

I agree with you. We're on our second Vertigo now and the first was one of like 2 that weren't the season ending baddies that had any sort of build to them, the other being Deadshot. Bronze Tiger has been used a handful of times and we know nothing about him (which I kind of like in his case, but the point remains).

Kalyx triaD 10-14-2014 05:30 PM

I like the new Count, but I'm hoping the next version finally comes to the foreign royalty who really wants to kill his niece guy.

And Sara's totally dead; Word of God. I wonder how Nysa's gonna feel about this, and if there's a certain green bath that could help later on.

VSG 10-14-2014 11:41 PM

Would be a nice way to introduce Ra's, I suppose. But I am ok if she is dead/gone forever. Possibly from Laurel no longer being anorexic.

Destor 10-15-2014 01:52 AM

Excellent show. Best comic show on TV (other than the walking dead I guess.)

Season 3 opened strong. very happy.

McLegend 10-15-2014 09:01 PM

That was an intense and well done episode.

Lock Jaw 10-16-2014 11:28 PM

Word. Powerful emotions.... I like how there is a constant sense of character growth and change in this series...

Season 1 was Oliver just straight up being a vigilante...
Season 2 he was trying to become a hero, and succeeded...

Now Season 3 it looks like he may start to doubt his career choices....

So who do we think killed Sara?

My money is on Katana. I bet Sara killed her husband or something.

McLegend 10-17-2014 05:26 PM

I really liked how Oliver was throughout the whole show. Stephen Amell did a good acting job. His exchange with Felcity and his last scene with Diggle were excellent.

I don't know who killed her. I feel that it has to somehow tie back to Oliver, and he has to be a reason or the reason she was killed. Also hope it's someone we have already seen just to give us a chance to figure it out. I like a good mystery.

Not sure were they are going with the Hong Kong flashbacks yet. It was good to see Tommy.

Kalyx triaD 10-18-2014 12:06 PM

Laurel's little interrogation was kinda shocking. Damn.

ClockShot 10-20-2014 04:15 PM

Vinnie Jones on board to play "Brick".

Lock Jaw 10-20-2014 05:31 PM

Just put him in his "Scales" makeup from The Cape.

McLegend 10-22-2014 07:59 PM

I'm excited for Malcolm Merlyn tonight.

I love that guy.

McLegend 10-22-2014 11:37 PM

Laurel should learn how to swing a bat before she uses it as a weapon.

DaveBrawl 10-23-2014 07:39 AM

Always, always, be sure to warn the guy you've jumped from behind with a monologue before you pop him.

McLegend 10-23-2014 08:36 PM

Lol I loved Oliver's reaction to Laurel telling him she tried to exact revenge. It was just a look of pure exacerbation. He did not want to deal with it at all.

I enjoyed that scene.

Lock Jaw 10-24-2014 02:54 AM

Woo Ted Grant. Also +1 for reference to Tom Bronson.

Kalyx triaD 10-26-2014 05:56 AM

Thea's badass. And still bratty. But badass.

McLegend 10-29-2014 07:54 PM

Merlyn is going to kick some ass tonight.

McLegend 10-29-2014 09:14 PM

Man that was awesome.
