Were the ratings bad or is it just the political climate against them?

To the surprise of no one, NBC officially cancels Powerless.

I started to like it, but it was real obvious that it was going to get canceled.

Was fun while it lasted. I hope the three un-aired episodes get put out somewhere.

I have no idea. Didn't/don't look at ratings.

I don't watch Last Man Standing, but what does it have to do with the political climate? Isn't it some Tim Allen sitcom?

Yeah but he plays a right-winger, gun guy.

Show was canned because Tim Allen's contract was too much and ABC was supposed to be taking over full money issues at this point in the series run instead of Fox who produces it.

I was surprised it lasted that long. The Meathead of the show was easily the most unlikable person on television, and that says something considering what modern TV looks like and that he should be someone a liberal should agree with.

ABC picks up The Goldbergs for 2 more seasons, American Housewife, Blackish, Designated Survivor, and Once Upon a Time. Once Upon a Time will likely have a huge cast shakeup.

ABC cancels American Crime, The Catch, Dr. Ken, Imaginary Mary, The Real O'Neals, Secrets & Lies, and Notorious.

NBC cancels The Blacklist spin-off The Blacklist: Redemption after 1 season.

Fox gives Brooklyn Nine-Nine a 5th season.

How does OUAT get another season when the focal point of the show is leaving?

Blacklist : Redemption was awful, has the original been canned as well or is it limping on?

Fuck yeah at The Goldbergs and Designated Survivor getting renewed.

Not too bummed about that next batch of cuts. Real O'Neals was pretty good, though.

The original The Blacklist got renewed.

ABC picks up Speechless and Fresh Off The Boat.

AMC renews The Son for a 2nd season.

Fox renews The Exorcist for a 2nd season. (I did not know there was such a show.)

NBC renews Law & Order: SVU for a 19th season. :eek:

I love speechless. Cute little show and how can you not love Minnie driver.

I also liked the real one Neal's but this news was not surprising as it disappeared. I love Martha plimton as well. I wish they would have kept raising hope going though.

I enjoyed the first series but once they started the whole baby story I think it lost its way, but Spader is so watchable I keep getting pulled back in.

Thought I was going to hate Speechless after watching the trailer. But it's really funny. Happy it got picked up.

CBS axed 2 Broke Girls

There's a couple big shows left to be decided on too..I'm curious about New Girl and its interesting Fox hasn't renew family guy yet

Used to watch 2 Broke Girls, but not for a few seasons now.

Fucking finally, this show is/was terrible.

Yeah, pretty much the same jokes over and over..... I guess there were two major reasons that kept me coming back for the first few seasons......

Upon further review, NBC has decided to spare Timeless from cancellation and has given the show a 2nd season.

This may prove the existence of God.

Family Guy has been renewed.

There is a god. 2Broke Girls has finally been executed.

CBS cancels The Great Indoors after 1 season. And picks up The Amazing Race, Elementary, and Code Black.

Fox gives New Girl a 7th and final season.

Never seen New Girl but a few people that I know with decent taste seem to like it.

Haven't seen an episode all season due to work but it's enjoyable.

New Girl very good, in my opinion..... glad it will get a final season to wrap things up.....

Loved New Girl when it started. Seem to have drifted away from it as time has gone by.

Really enjoyed The Mick on FOX and season 2 of The Detour on TBS. Both are funny and very well written imo

CBS cancels Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and The Odd Couple.

Fox cancels Scream Queens.

Thought Beyond Borders had already gone, the parent program is probably on its last legs too, awful last two seasons with this one being truely dire.

That's usually not a good sign.

New Arrested Development? Yes please.

FOX ends up cancelling 24: Legacy.

But, they're thinking about doing something totally new with the franchise. So, it's not dead yet.
