TNA claims to own the rights, but Matt has it Trademarked, he is still using it.

You sir, are looking to be in GLORIOUS ring shape. I feel like if you can make your biceps "bigger" you will have an amazing "big man" look if that makes sense.

Definitely post updates. Highly interested in the rise of Paul Titan to stardom!!!

Simple Fan 02-28-2017 09:23 PM

Have they said who will induct the Rock n Roll Express into the Hall of Fame? Hardy would be good for that.

Evil Vito 02-28-2017 09:24 PM

Mike Bennett and Maria are gone too

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-28-2017 09:27 PM

It's closing time.

They'll find a way to get James E. Cornette to induct them.

Damn I thought he would benefit from the Hardys leaving. Is Bobby Lashley next?

Thanks man, I appreciate it.

(Alittle "Paul Titan Update") I started training and competing in Strongman events again (the guys pulling trucks and pressing logs on ESPN) The match was actually the day before a competition and I cut weight to compete in a lower weight class. So basically I cut 11 lbs in 3 days, did the match with Swoggle, got a couple hours of sleep, injured myself in the contest.... and still placed third. :D

Ironically enough, at the show with Swoggle, Jeff Jarret was there too. He was really nice, we talked some, and he said to "get some stuff together" and go to bat for me to get a tryout in TNA (so if I do get a tryout, I'd have EC3, Snow and Jarrett all pulling for me)

So I'm training and polishing some in ring stuff up right now. There's a strongman competition in June I have a very good chance of winning. My idea is win the competition, then send the stuff in so I have more accolades to my name, which should help my chances in getting signed.

Damian Rey 2.0 03-01-2017 02:25 AM

Fuck yes! Good luck man.

Nice, good luck man. Even if we're mocking TNA right now for losing the big stars, it still would be damn good exposure.

Just, uh, have a lawyer look over the contract so you don't give up 10% of everything else you earn.

You thought about getting down to Florida for one of the NXT tryouts?

I'm also gonna play Devil's Advocate here after reading Anthem's explanation of why they're letting people's contracts expire/ not renewing.

"Supposedly" Dixie had promised the talent huge paydays and their pay scale was unreasonable for a company that wasn't making that money back. For Mike Bennett, Dixie paid him $250,000 a year, plus what they were paying Maria, which is a HUGE paycheck for someone who just got to the company (and isn't a household name to wrestling fans). Anthem's justification is basically, take that money, find 3 or 4 guys for that price, and advertise those guys instead of paying one guy a quarter million a year.

From a business standpoint, if you can get rid of one Mike Bennett and get three "Paul Titans" out of it (indie guys who are young, athletic, good workers that you can mold for the next 10 years) and spend the rest of that quarter mil on advertising your new stars.... why wouldn't you?

I'd agree, but now they're rumoured to bring in Rey Mysterio who won't come cheap...

Stickman 03-01-2017 12:43 PM

Maybe the Hardys go into the WWE hall of fame now. I have zero interest in watching them wrestle though.

#1-norm-fan 03-01-2017 02:39 PM

Holy shit. Mike Bennett was making a quarter of a million dollars a year??? Good for him but... Goddamn!

Ol Dirty Dastard 03-01-2017 02:46 PM

That's something to think about..... I think Kaz, Daniels and even AJ were making half of that when TNA let them go :-\

Rollermacka 03-01-2017 03:57 PM

Galloway just posted an interview saying that he didn't leave TNA because of money problems, that he chose to leave on his own accord.

Emperor Smeat 03-01-2017 09:57 PM

Add another one to the list of the departed as Jade is currently rumored to be leaving the company. Nothing official yet but Twitter and several dirtsheet sites are reporting she's leaving.

If she doesn't show up during the upcoming set of tapings, pretty much confirms the rumors.

There’s no word on if she’ll appear at the taping to write her character off, but Insider reports the company plans to only use talent they have locked up on the Mar. 2 - 4 shows in Orlando, so... don’t count on it.

I couldn't tell him apart from Matt Taven (sp? his tag partner in the Kingdom).

With the Bellas being more or less phased out, maybe we can get Maria back in WWE and I guess her husband.

Double J lining up the replacements for all this talent

Matt Morgan is being brought in for another run as a star once again.

#1-norm-fan 03-02-2017 09:39 AM

Well that's a good start at least.

Evil Vito 03-02-2017 09:44 AM

I love me some Matt Morgan

#1-norm-fan 03-02-2017 09:52 AM

Will be be bringing the stutter though?

Broken Matt Morgan.

#1-norm-fan 03-02-2017 09:53 AM

The entire roster should become broken in some way.

Couple of my buddies from the North East (who have worked GFW events) have gotten the call for this week's tapings. Happy for them!

Anybody Thrilla 03-02-2017 04:10 PM

I think it would be great if the Hardys just fucked off all together.

JimmyMess 03-02-2017 04:53 PM

RUMOUR - Jeff Hardy has been offered an identical contract to Jericho's with a massive push. But he will only sign with Matt.

Sepholio 03-02-2017 04:55 PM

Matt and Jeff Wyatt

To be fair more wrestling fans know who Maria is over Bennett. She was in the WWE and he wasn't. Also the Playboy spread.

Explains why they went to TNA when the rumour was they were heading to NXT/WWE.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Hardys are currently in early contract talks with the WWE for a possible return.

No deal has been offered quite yet, and something could always change — but as of right now it looks as though they’re heading towards Matt and Jeff returning home to WWE.

As we previously reported, Broken Matt and Jeff felt dissed during contract negotiations with Impact and their lawyer was told to call WWE if they didn’t like the offer being given.

It’s unclear what creative plans for the brothers are if they get signed.

DAMN iNATOR 03-03-2017 10:58 PM

I think Matt, "#BROKEN" or not could be tremendous in the Cruiserweight Division "vee-uhh 2!". As for Jeff, he could be amazing as US title contender/holder, main event picture guy, or if they're really feeling like rolling the dice, perhaps even Universal Champion long down the road.

I'm reticent to say they should just be stuffed into the tag division on either brand, because I think fans want to see newer teams and not names that would seem like another nostalgia act that gets thrown in for a huge pop and governess at first only to have them vanish à la The Dudleys. I also don't think they'd benefit from 50/50 booking there or even contending for or holding either show's tag belts. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't feel like that would be a good look for them.

#1-norm-fan 03-03-2017 11:57 PM

I don't think Matt fits in the cruiserweight division at all. Weight-wise or style-wise.

Simple Fan 03-04-2017 12:16 AM

Would be a bigger weight drop than the last time he went after the Cruiserweight title. Might be possible with a mustard diet.

Swiss Ultimate 03-04-2017 04:01 PM

Too damn old.

Anybody Thrilla 03-04-2017 04:03 PM

The Hardys should be exclusive to the Holy Foley! brand.

XL 03-04-2017 05:43 PM

Got me thinking they could do a post-Mania draft where each brand can bring in "non-contracted" guys and NXT call-ups. Potentially you'd have The Hardys and Shelton Benjamin if he's healthy now, how are contracts looking for Lucha Underground guys? You could look at Johnny Mundo/John Morrison or a return for Mystrerio. Throw in some of the UK guys. Plus the likes of Nakamura, Roode, The Revival, DIY, etc. gives you a decent talent pool from which to draw. Add in 2 inter-brand picks to freshen up the roster but not move too many pieces around.
