I want to create a hot wrestling rumor that is completely false
I need your help though.
Step 1: Come up with a believable lie that would have major ramifications if it were true. Step 2: Create a twitter account on which we will use to source the story. Step 3: Disseminate the story to every wrestling forum and comment board we can find. Anyone else bored enough to help me do this? Going to need like 15-20 people to really accomplish this. |

Brodus Clay is actually a Cyborg that Vince controls from backstage. He's still in the development stages so they haven't worked out all the kinks, hence they don't feel confident enough to use him on Raw just yet. The creators are trying to find a way to power him via twitter WWE trends.

The current plan for Wrestlemania is for Zack Ryder to defend his US title against Kane. The weeks prior to the event, Kane will start showing a softer side than he is currently, and even help Ryder out during a beatdown from Jack Swagger. The match will end with Ryder winning, Kane looking to chokeslam Ryder after the match but have a change of heart, remove his mask and reveal a BROSKI headband. The two will form the tag team "Take Kane, Spike Your Mane" and will bring a Lion to ringside with them.

Wade Barrett recently drew heat backstage after mentioning to several members of the crew that he was soon to be getting another new tattoo, this time on his face. Some higher ups got word of this and apparently came down hard on Barrett explaining that his image belonged to WWE and they would not condone the action. Barrett allegedly joked that he could lose in a face vs mask match to Rey Mysterio and be forced to wear a mask to cover the tattoo. There was word that this incident led to a physical confrontation backstage between Barrett and and well respected veteran William Regal who had declared Barrett to be a buffoon of the highest order. Expect Barrett to go on a losing streak in the coming weeks - months.

In a follow up from the incident at Elimination Chamber 2010, where The Undertaker's pyro malfunctioned and burned him, it's being said by various sources close to both of them that he and Vince McMahon are at a crossroads about the situation. The Undertaker is considering legal action, and it seems that his match at WrestleMania is off, and he may be done with the company entirely.

Shane McMahon is looking to form a group to buy TNA and compete with his Father for real. He was seen in Nashville recently as well.

With his relationship with TNA going sour and his financial troubles continuing to mount, word is that Hulk Hogan is in talks to return to WWE as early as the Royal Rumble. In a nod to their high-level feud several years ago, Hogan may clash with Randy Orton in the Rumble match, either causing Orton's elimination or being the last opponent eliminated by Orton.
The biggest stumbling block to this is, of course, Hogan's current legal issues with his wife. Hogan's court appearances may prove problematic to his ability to make personal appearances. Some withing WWE even argue that Hogan's value as a mega-face may be soiled by his life's events in the past few years. |

I think what we should do is create a twitter account for one of the ring-side workers, and instead of predicting something major like a lot of these rumors, make up some insane story about what is happening behind the scenes.
Like all the Melina/JoMo stuff of recent, come up with some insane story that is going to spread like wildfire. Like, how about a random story about a confrontation between Mark Henry and JoMo, like finally JoMo snaps backstage after finding out that Mark Henry fucked Melina. He then repackages himself as a no-nonsense badass submission machine! |
that's not interesting. that's midcard shit. go big or go to your home. Do something about Taker's streak or Punk's title reign or how about Rock/Cena both refusing to job to each other
