Where the fuck is Gertner at to spam every forum with Tom Brady threads?!

McLegend 02-01-2015 10:42 PM

That 3rd and 14 conversation where Edelman clearly got concussed was the biggest offensive play of the game for the Pats.

Mercenary 02-01-2015 10:48 PM

Can I breathe now?

The biggest play of the game was probably the late hit. 15 yards on a key drive.

#1-norm-fan 02-01-2015 11:05 PM

The biggest play of the game was when Pete Carroll went full retard.

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-01-2015 11:09 PM

Any Bostonians going out for T-Shirt and Hat night? Not this time for me.

Evil Vito 02-01-2015 11:13 PM

Can't even imagine what Seattle fans are going through right now. The Giants were on the goal line against the Pats three years ago and Belichick let them score. If they had gotten picked off on a dumb call like Wilson did tonight I probably wouldn't have slept that night.

Although them having won it last year probably takes away some of the pain.

#1-norm-fan 02-01-2015 11:14 PM

Congrats to Clerk though for his team winning the big one. He's a true fan.

Evil Vito 02-01-2015 11:27 PM

Good news for fans of other NFC teams: Lynch could still walk, Quinn will almost certainly leave for Atlanta as the job has been held open for him, and Wilson is probably going to get like a $20M per year extension eating up a ton of cap space.

I won't say Seattle's SB window is closed, but it will be a LOT harder for them to get back next year.

Evil Vito 02-01-2015 11:36 PM

Patriots 2015 home schedule: Buffalo, Miami, NY Jets, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Philadelphia, Washington, Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh for the 2015 Thursday Night opener seems like a decent bet. I don't think they'd do AFC vs. NFC to start the season and not totally sure they'll go all in on Rex Ryan's Bills in a season opener.

It was a good Super Bowl, but there wasn't anything memorabilia until the last 2 minutes. However that is one of the best endings to a Super Bowl ever.

One of the worst super bowls ever, how do you call a interception on the seahawks last play a good ending.

Fuck Boston.

road doggy dogg 02-01-2015 11:59 PM

what is your deal man

I hate Patriots/annoying-ass Patriots fans but they played a hell of a game

Simple Fan 02-02-2015 12:08 AM

I don't care I don't like any Boston team.

Simple Fan 02-02-2015 12:17 AM

Plus I'm posting drunk.

Emperor Smeat 02-02-2015 12:34 AM

Extra early betting favorites for next year's Super Bowl is a repeat Seahawks-Pats matchup with the Hawks as the favs.

After those two, Broncos and Green Bay are the next favs to be in the game and win.

#1-norm-fan 02-02-2015 01:01 AM

Pittsburgh @ New England will be a shitty way to start the 2015 season.

Clerk 02-02-2015 02:30 AM

Wow what a game! Glad to have been there to experience it live! Everyone thought it was over but all you have to do is Bolieve!

nice excuse. if seahawks pay Wilson there dumb

road doggy dogg 02-02-2015 08:15 AM

I love Sherman and all, but aren't there rules to that kind of thing? Playing through that kind of injury?

Regardless, to have a torn UCL and only give up one reception in a game where Tom Brady had 37 completions, pretty boss. For all the morons trying to say that the loss should "shut this thug up" or whatever, they clearly didn't watch the game because he defs was not the reason they lost.

Droford 02-02-2015 09:01 AM

Hes probably going to miss 2015..pitchers that have TJ usually miss a whole year

Evil Vito 02-02-2015 09:24 AM

Anybody who calls Sherman a thug at this point is clearly a racist.

road doggy dogg 02-02-2015 09:30 AM

Huge Pats homer friend texts me he changed his phone background to Sherman's face after the int. I can't bring myself to even give him a good-natured "lol" response

Nark Order 02-02-2015 10:09 AM

Sherman isn't a thug. He is clearly an asshole though.

road doggy dogg 02-02-2015 10:11 AM

An asshole who is very good at playing cornerback

Nark Order 02-02-2015 10:12 AM

Man. Yesterday was insane. I just wanted the Seahawks to lose, I didn't think they were going to completely embarrass themselves on national television. That seriously could not have gone any better. That was better than if they were blown out. They essentially knew they were going to win then had their hearts ripped out of their chest. So satisfying to me.

Oh yeah. Clearly. Probably top 2 in the league. I would much rather be beaten by Revis or Haden though because they won't dance on our grave afterwards like a fuckhead.

road doggy dogg 02-02-2015 10:15 AM

You kinda sound like one of those curmudgeony old baseball traditionalists who hates Bryce Harper because he has any semblance of personality

Innovator 02-02-2015 10:17 AM

Narc HATES it that the World Series isn't played in the afternoon like the good ol days

Still calls the Dodgers from Brooklyn

Nark Order 02-02-2015 10:18 AM

I love guys with personality. Jared Allen is probably my favorite player ever because of his personality. Sherman is just kind of vindictive and mean spirited.

road doggy dogg 02-02-2015 10:20 AM

What? Jared Allen is your go-to for "player with personality" ? Allen is like 10x more of a dickhead than Sherman is, pretty much one of the least-likeable sports figures ever

Nark Order 02-02-2015 10:23 AM

Revis soundly defeated Sherman by not responding to his antics.

Yesterday was seriously like a dream come true. All of it.

Nark Order 02-02-2015 10:24 AM

The Seahawks throwing a temper tantrum after the Pats went in to victory formation almost made me cum. It made me so happy. Like so unbelievably happy.

Nark Order 02-02-2015 10:26 AM

To be fair, if I was a Lion's fan, I would probably hate Jared Allen.

But he is wonderful. Just a wonderful human being overall.

Ruien 02-02-2015 10:31 AM

Isn't Narc a 49ers fan? Kind of explains it.

Nark Order 02-02-2015 10:34 AM

I'm just glad that a national audience got to see what 9ers fans have known for quite awhile. When the Hawks are up, they stand over everybody after every tackle, they taunt mercilessly, and they throw temper tantrums when they don't get their way. I don't HATE them necessarily because top tier competition in the division just helps everybody get better, but seeing them get gut wrenched was pretty satisfying.

Their souls were taken. They will never be the same again.

road doggy dogg 02-02-2015 10:41 AM

Are you like just finding out in 2015 that probably more than 50% of being successful at sports is attitude? Putting yourself in that mindset is part of what makes them so good at what they do.

Simple Fan 02-02-2015 10:43 AM

Johnny football just checked in to a treatment clinic.

Nark Order 02-02-2015 10:55 AM

You're acting like those antics are standard though, and they aren't. The reason people talk about them in that context is because they go overboard. Nothing was more satisfying than Sherman calling out Revis yesterday only to get his soul stolen at the end of the game.

Getting chippy is one thing, but if you're going to call out another individual player to the cameras, you better make sure you win. That's my problem with Sherman. Everybody gets mad/chippy but rarely do guys go out of their way to make it so personal. Calling out guys by name, calling out their numbers in the middle of a game, it seems so forced. We get the angle.
