Rematch at NXT Wrestlemania for Ciampa's NXT Championship.

I really liked his tag team with Ciampa. Their matches against The Revival were really great and got me pumped. I dunno, I just feel that this is trying to force emotions. It feels like bad theater. I'm sure it will get 6 stars, don't worry.

Just caught the last 10 minutes or so. Maybe I'm just soured by the main roster nothingness but that seemed like pretty decent storytelling and a fine ending. Good chaos.

You still gotta respect Tommaso, only dude in the WWE that can get the "F You" chants with that level of hatred. Interested to see if he can maintain it when not going up against Gargano and the story they have told, but as of these last few months Ciampa has been the best heel NXT has ever had in terms of getting real heat.

Wedding ring thing was great. Noid is right about Gargano reacting by going for a very "controled" wrestling move and not just murdering him seeming off though.

I'm glad someone gets where I'm coming from. Feels like it's sacrilege to have any criticisms of Gargano right now. "Cheesy" is a very good word for it. I'm not a big fan of the plunder matches. I appreciate a good brawl with good brawl psychology, but when it's trash cans and crutches, it's just a bit 24/7 hardcore for me. This also had all the tropes of your modern "everything but the kitchen sink" approach. It was kind of funny when Ciampa came alive and hit that DDT at the end and won the match. It was a DDT onto wood. Gargano jumped off from higher through wood a few seconds ago and was fine.

I really liked how Gargano had some threads that would tie into the finish of his matches with The Revival, but I feel that his position right now is to do "epic matches" with something "dramatically innovative" towards the end, and I think it's going to have diminishing returns. Just let the little guy wrestle. He's really good.

He's doing great work. I don't think it's real heat. I think it's an ironic response because people love Johnny and they know that Ciampa's trying to be an actual heel so they're playing along. But it's better than them ironically not.

If he starts banging Candice they could be a new version of Edge & Lita.

@Noid -- I had that #concern before the match as well -- That they wouldn't do a 'real street fight' and more of a 'main-roster' streetfight

If Ciampa poured lighter fluid on Gargano and acted like he was going to set him on fire it would have felt 'more dangerous' or that they hated each-other IMO

Most of the show was something I really enjoyed. Really liked what I saw of Dream/Ricochet, liked Shayna/Nikki enough and loved Black/Sullivan. Just because it's NXT doesn't mean it's perfect, haha.

Exactly my thought, get him away from Gargano and see if the heat is real, but until I see it fade, I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

As for the banging Candice thing, it would work great, but WWE doesnt have the stones to do that kind of thing anymore, even in NXT.

The way Tomasso was talking while walking Johnny up the ramp, and the wedding band spot, I assume it is gonna be a "you changed after you got married, you abandoned me" kind of thing.

First time hearing Vic Joseph. He was okay. I think I liked him more than Tom Phillips. Didn't really pay attention to him. Inoffensive but not great, I guess. Loved Nigel on commentary. Holy shit it's weird hearing color commentators with insight. Percy Watson is redundant and I have no clue why even NXT has those box-ticking things going on when it, overall, feels like a much better structured, produced and organic presentation.

If the plan is to go move onto Black/Ciampa, I am really curious to see how Ciampa goes working with someone that isn't Gargano. I feel like it would be fresh and interesting for him to mix it up with some other guys.
