Not yet as enthralling of an expierience as Fallout 3 was (seems like a lighter version of Fallout 3) but I am enjoying it and hoping for more as I am early into the game. |
Working on finishing FF13 after not playing it for almost a year... edit: And now that's beat, was closer to the end then I thought I was.

Finished Dragon Age: Awakening yesterday. All but the Golems of Amgarrak DLC is done along with it.
Picked up Deus Ex: Human Revolution on a whim a couple days ago. I'll start that tonight. |

Just beat Duke Nukem Forever...what an awesome game, best single player FPS I've played in years. The only flaws are that its too short and they made it a bit too PC by having pig cops not look like cops anymore...other then that, everything was awesome, I just wish it was a longer game. Here's hoping for a sequel.
Next will probably play Deus Ex : HR. Also playing Red Dead Redemption. :y: |

Since I'm unemployed and without friends, I have managed to get through a ton of shit recently. I have beaten.
The Witcher Singularity Uncharted 2 And Yet It Moves Cogs Just started Red Dead Redemption and Disgaea. Will be busy with those for a while. |
Got Undead Nightmare Collection as part of the deal of the week.
Playing UN right now and feeling a little let down. I've heard good things and my brother in law told me it was brilliant. Playing it and, admitedly, only done one main mission and just been doing a stranger task the rest of the time but I feel like I'm being pushed through the game already. Like I can't stop and do something else, I have to go from here to there. I'm already getting a little tired of the whole zombie thing (How can people do this for almost every game that comes out these days?). Go to a town, clear it of enemies, move on to the next town. Doesn't help that everything seems to be tinted a dark green. Does the game get better than this? (no spoilers, just a yes or no and a rough estimate of how far into the story it improves. 1/3 of the way in or whatever.) |

I think I hated Brotherhood more than I have hated any single video game in a long time.
I hated the first Gears of War a couple of years ago when I had it, even traded it in after beating the first Berserker, strictly because of the AI of my partner. I bought it again a few months ago and finally got around to playing both of them over the last few weekends with my brother and I enjoyed them, especially the second one. |

I hate the crowbarring of zombies into random games but I thought I'd give UN a try with it being RDR and R* but it's the same as every other zombie game I've seen on the 360. You stand somewhere, zombies charge at you from all directions. You kill them all, you move on to the next area. It seems to have stripped away a lot of the fun RDR features. No hunting or skinning animals, no gambling, no buying/selling, no bounties, no jobs, no fame, no honour/dishonour. |
The map for GTA 4 looks like a Dinosaur chasing a guy...who's raping some other guy....and Bohan is a dildo.

Of course it is, Happiness Island is fucking worthless. 6 pigeons and a stupid heart? Fuck it.

Finished Red Dead and Indigo Prophecy. Still have plenty to go in Disgaea, and started Planescape Torment. Considering starting something that isn't an RPG to give me a break from some long games, but I haven't decided on anything yet.
|
3 1/2 years to the day after it released, I finally made it to Elite rank in TCR6V2. My bro had owned it originally and then when he moved out I couldn't play it anymore because he took all his stuff with him (OBVI) and within the past month or two I picked up a copy for like $10 at GS. Good deal, although now that I'm done with T-Hunt (and don't really care about the achievement for completing Story Mode on Realistic difficulty anymore), I'll probably take it back sooner than later and use the in-store credit (or what there is of it anyway) towards my ES V: Skyrim pre-order total which is currently at a paltry $15.
|
Finished Deus Ex this afternoon. Could have sworn I had the game on hard mode and I sure as hell didn't kill anybody. Pretty pissed that I gotta go through this again.
I think I'm going to zip through Dragon Age 2 again before Arkham City drops. |

Just got to act 3 of Gears of War 3. So far, it is really fun, but it hasn't impressed me as much as GoW2.
Also playing AC:Brotherhood, and Street Fighter III OE |

I wonder what they're doing next, using the same people or doing different like with ME. |
Gears was great, and the gameplay felt more polished than 2(which I didn't think was possible given how fucking great it was in 2) but it just didn't wow me like Gears 2 did. The journey across the mountains in those big walkers, the reaver fight with skorge, the brumak ride. Nothing in 3 seemed to match those. Was also kind of dissapointed that we learned nothing about the queen really. I'm okay not knowing the origin of the locust, but at least explain why some human looking woman is leading them.
In other news I'm back to playing AC: Brotherhood, and I have to say, if they want to make a whole bunch of psuedo sequels to AC 3 when it comes out, I would gladly hand them my money for it. Brotherhood is awesome, and Revelations looks like another hit. I am assuming AC 3 will be almost exclusively in the modern era as Desmond. |
Still battling my way through Disgaea. Halfway through, and really enjoying it. Wish I had gotten into the series when it first came out.
Played three hours of Binding of Issac, but haven't touched Planescape: Torment or Eternal Darkness since I started them last week. Will probably wait for Disgaea to be off this list. |

Noire - 77 Crysis 2 - 59 Army of Two: The 40th Day - 59.5 Duke Nukem Forever - 77 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 - 20 Better than the other one but still shitty. Took a whopping 4 hours, maybe less. Pressed the Right Trigger at least 10,000 times and that's not an exaggeration. |
Got Oblivion through Steam (GOTY Deluxe). I had the GOTY edition on 360 but I traded it because I barely played it and I wasn't a fan of the controls. Tried the PC version and holy shit, what a difference. Don't know how people play a game like Oblivion with a controller.
Haven't even touched the main quest and probably won't. It was one of the reasons I hated it on 360, I stuck to the main quest only. I'm 12 hours in now and barely feel like I've scratched the surface. It's addicting, "yo". |
Assassin's Creed 2 (PC).
It's a great improvement over the first one. The only downfall is that you need a working internet connection to start the game. |
The Binding of Isaac.
|
Looks like I'm going to have to grind for hours upon hours to beat the last story level in Disgaea. Pretty much avoided nonstop grinding up to this point. Game is fucking fantastic otherwise.

After playing with friends on the 360, it was so much better and I loved it. For me, this is a co op only game. It's pretty much Borderlands with zombies, and a ton of glitches. I thought the campaign was only like 5 hours, and it turned into 20 or so. Didn't really bother with side quests. |
Just bought Punch-Out for the Wii earlier today so going to spend the rest of the week on just that game and a few older games in the collection.

I can't remember what I did last week, let alone what games I've beaten.
I'm gonna start clocking in some time with MvC3 so I can get on the same level that Funky Fly's bro is at, so we can throw down once Ultimate hits. Cause I sure as shit won't be playing against Funky. Guy is still obsessed with Oblivion, and Skyrim comes out next month. By my estimation, we won't see a game invite accepted by him for another 50 years. |
I'm basically only playing Planescape: Torment after finishing a number of games (Disgaea, Condemned: Criminal Origins). I was working on FF Dissidia, but stopped once I realized the sequel had the original game basically retooled in the game as an add-on. Deeply considering playing FFX-2, but I'm majorly worried of how cute that game is going to be.
|
Oh yeah, I finally got to Eternal Darkness too. Beat that after having that on my to-play list for six or seven years.
Unemployment is giving me plenty of time to knock this shit out. |
Think I might get MvC3 Ultimate and play against Fignuts. And get my ass kicked.
Playing NBA Jam: On Fire edition right now. |
Do it.
|
I am still getting stomped by turtles in FFSXIII attempting to finish the Cie'th Stones . Also playing Arcana Heart 3, sporadically having a go on Mortal Kombat avec ragequitters and RE5 gold edition is in the post. Violent times.
|
Fuck those turtles and the one other cie'th stone mission, the two guys who have those barriers on top of that plateau. Fuck that entire game, it's retarded. You do more in the first two hours of Final Fantasy 6 than you do in that game.
|
I have three missions left, and I'm not going anywhere near that barrier ci'eth mission yet because of the way it replaces all the stupidly hard turtles with absolutely shit ridiculous super turtles. The level grinding is so painfully dull, 60000 CP for +10HP, come on now :(
I was actually thinking about going though FF6 or 9 again soon just to remind myself why I love these games, if this was the only thing I was playing I would have stopped by now. With that said, I'm still finding it about one million times more entertaining than the first Assassin's Creed. |
Assassin's Creed is a repetitive game where you are given free roam. Final Fantasy XIII is a repetitive game where all you are allowed to do is fight and run through a tube.
|
Yeah AC 2 is way better.
Also, played FFXIII for a couple hours and haven't touched it since. Is the whole game just running down hallways? |
yes
|
NBA2k12 and Ghostbusters.

Noire - 77 Crysis 2 - 59 Army of Two: The 40th Day - 59.5 Duke Nukem Forever - 77 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 - 20 NBA Jam: OFE - 81 The bad first, the single player campaign is way too long. Almost 24 hours. The AI has no shame in dicking you over to keep the scores close. And I wish online games could be a bit smoother. Other than that, it's everything I thought a remake of NBA Jam would have been. I wish I could take this and travel back in time to 9 year old me to play on the cabinet with my buddies at the pizza joint near my house. Maybe DLC could include a tournament mode? Comprehensive w-l tracking? |

Just finished Planescape Torment. Great game and all, but I was ready for it to be over about ten hours beforehand. Probably more talking in that game than any other Western RPG I've ever played.
So that leaves Dissidia 012 on my playing list, unless you count playing Tecmo with the 2012 NFL rosters every once in a while. |
