205 Live the past two months has been great again.

Thse two are worthy successors to Neville and Aries

I had Corbin winning the Battle Royal on Tipsters. But i did have Kane eliminating Curtis Axel.. so not a bad start.

I hope they put this whole Cruiserweight tournament on a DVD.

I've heard good things about Mustafa Ali recently. I expect him to get the tokenism win to appeal to the Pakistani market. It should be a good match, although no one is as good as Neville was. :(

205 has been rebuilding. The past month in particular, the crowd has started off quiet and by the end of the main event have been more into it and louder than for just about anything on Smackdown outside of D-Bry pretty consistently.

They're in front of a lot of people who probably gave up on the division and haven't been watching 205 Live regularly, and since they're not on Raw often any more, crowd has no investment. That's not surprising. This is more a match to see how they react at the end and how 205 Live's numbers go from here.

Mustafa Ali was a replacement for someone else in the Cruiserweight Classic and he got eliminated in the first round. He turned that into a spot on the roster and a Mania match. Impressive.

I think there are a lot ofpeople at mania that don't watch 205 live, that may have been won over.

That said, cedric and ali are not on Aries and Neville's level.

That's okay though. With the talent they have, they can get there.

Despite having a 2 hour kick off show and only 3 matches, I suspect they're running behind.

The womans trophy is Moolah holding a whip over black wrestlers as they carry her to the ring.

Yeah. That was kind of my fear with it being wedged on the pre-show. Some people thought it would mean more time, but when you've got two battle royals and 65 video packages, you're not going to get more than 10 minutes.

It would be cool for them to have a rematch on Raw that gets some good time to really help draw people back into 205, but hopefully that taste will get some more eyes on there since they're doing some crazy shit on there again.

Little on the sweet side

I think Ali had way more momentum behind him over the past couple of months, and he's definitely been the better promo, performer, and character, but you almost had to pull the trigger on Cedric here since he's been bumped out of winning the title by circumstances beyond his control like 75 times and if he doesn't get it here, there's really no excuse for him this time and he'd kind of dead in the water.

I'd be more interested in seeing who Braun's partner is if it didn't seem blindingly obvious that it's gonna be Big Show. We know he's there, he seems to have made a full recovery from surgery, he reportedly signed a new contract, and there are logical tie-ins with his last match being against Braun and it being the same building Cesaro threw him out of the first ever Andre battle royal.

At least it's a nice moment for him rather than him being saddled into battle royal duty again.
