I don't agree with you there. I don't think it was like a WW2 movie at all. In fact it reminded me a little of Half Lirfe 2....oddly.
I can kind of see where you are coming from, but any comparison would be superficial at best. The ending was low key certainly, I liked the way you could hear the childrens voices as it faded to black. I thought it fitted nicely as the start was very bleak with the news report. It showed how the world had changed over the course of the story. |
House of a 1000 corpses 7/10

Hot Fuzz
8/10 ROFL funny shit |
Mischief 4.5/5
It was a movie that was made in the 80's. It was about a guy that was like a dork in high school and he wanted the hottest girl in the schoole. New guy moves to town that is deemed to be a rebel and the fun insues. Seriously a very underrated movie. Kelly Preston stars in it. Just a cheesy well written movie |

Based on a collection of stories from Irvine Welsh. Good stuff. I would have given it a higher score. However I read the book sometime ago and I didn't like the way they changed the ending for the film. Still, it's worth a go. http://www.tv-links.co.uk/show.do/4/1832 |
