Well. This is quite welcome news, especially as Michonne seems to be shaping up to be a dud unless they really bring the goods next Tue., when ep.2 releases.

Well 500 days wasn't that great either seeing how Bonnie was the only main one to carry into season ....AND FUCK YOU BONNIE!

Yeah I was underwhelmed by it, too. And don't take this as criticism, just a correction: I believe it was called 400 Days, wasn't it?

I think they mean the one from the main game series, since "400 Days" connects the end of the main game's S1 to the start of S2.

Creator of The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman, has confirmed that Season 3 of Telltale's The Walking Dead will feature recurring star, Clementine - but hints that we may be seeing an older version of her.

Kirkman revealed the news in a new video about Telltale's adaptations ahead of the Michonne miniseries' April 26 finale. "We'll be checking in on Clementine again," he explains, "so we'll be seeing her, seeing where she's at and what's going on with her, which is going to be great."

However, Kirkman also explains that "Season 3 will actually be getting pretty close to where we are in the comics currently - like the books that are coming out now are roughly in the same time frame that Season 3 will be in."

Seasons 1 and 2 of the Telltale games take place from the beginning of The Walking Dead timeline, but the comics have since jumped to around four years after the initial outbreak. The implication is that we'll see a significantly older Clementine appear.

Kirkman does not clarify whether Clementine will remain a central character, however.

Kirkman also implies that the new Season will be more closely intertwined with the events of the comic series. Comparing it to the Michonne mini-series - which fills in a section of that character's history never explored in the comic, Kirkman says: "I think that there will be some more comic book elements that we'll be working in in some interesting ways. I don't want to reveal too much, but it'll definitely go hand-in-hand with the comics a little bit more than Season 2 did."

While we don't know a specific release date, we do know that Season 3 will arrive in 2016.

We gave Episode 2 of Michonne a 7.2 in our review, saying, "going into the third and final episode, [the] characters and the story overall have a chance to go in a more interesting direction." We'll find out whether that comes to pass tomorrow.
