By "Heist" R* clearly meant robbing the liquor store.

The update isn't as impressive as previous updates. The only clothing additions are a 1930's pilot helmet and a full body fighter pilot outfit.

There are about half a dozen new vehicles, most of which are aircraft, obviously.

The new parachutes have me a little confused. It talks about primary and secondary chutes. Is this a new "Sometimes your chute will screw up. Better get the backup chute!" thing or is it just another possible chute that you'll randomly use? I'm wanting a Scotland chute bag. $150,000 for it, though.

The airplane lessons are added to Online. No idea if you get anything for completion.

Tried the Flight School out. The first few lessons are good but it quickly becomes frustrating in the later lessons. On the plus side, gold medals pay well. I had $166,000+ with still two more lessons to complete.
Oddly, I leveled up from 75 to 76 but when I left the school, I was still 75.

Buzzards now have two rocket types. Homing and non-homing.

Also, my mental state has been reset.

Why would they do that? I bought it, I should still have it.

Has anyone played online since the last update and not had the "driving out my garage" animation? I now just warp from my garage to down the street.

The games initial load is getting longer with every update. The load from garage to street might be marginally faster.

The update is alright. Similar to the Flight School in single player, but with different events. I havent been able to find any flight suits. Aren't they supposed to be in the clothing stores?

Yeah. Go to the counter and you buy complete outfits. One of them is the fullbody fighter pilot outfit. It was $50,000 for me but I have the Limited Edition DLC which lets me buy clothing with a 25% discount, or something.

Yeah I have that edition too. Will have to jump on there again tomorrow after work.

You can rack up money pretty quickly with those flight school missions. Some of the races seem to pay out more now too. I ran a few by myself and got a couple thousand for each.

It's double $ this weekend. Wish I knew that before getting $166,000+ doing the flight school missions for the first time. :|

Oh nice. I racked up like 30k during the first couple of lessons because I was trying so hard to get Gold medals....only got it during the event where you lose all engine power and you have to glide the plane in tho. lol

On a side note, I mistook "flight suit" for a wing suit, ala Far Cry 3. That woulda been pretty awesome.

I was doing great. All golds until landing the helicopter on the truck and I haven't been able to do it yet.

The Parachuting missions that are good for 2X money are pretty good for just doing on your own. Sure it pays more if more than 2 are doing it, but it's a pretty relaxing way to rack up money.

These fucking One On One Deathmatches piss me off. Ive done three of them tonight and none of them have been One On One. Some guy had a vendetta against me or something and happened to be within sight of me entering a One On One. Fucker kept getting me before my opponent could. His blip was invisible as well because he wasn't involved in it.

Imagine my surprise when they wouldn't accept my invite for a big deathmatch. Fucking pansies.

I did the heli in one go. Wife watched for proof. That low as you can stay one is horseshit.

That one must be broken. I landed multiple times and it just would not register it. I finally got a gold though.

I hate that one. I tried endlessly for over an hour. Some of the failures were stupid. I dunked the underside of the plane in the water and the game failed me and said the vehicle was wrecked despite the fact it was still flying. Other times it had no problem with me doing it.
Over an hour though. I got a gold and I will never play that lesson again. At this point I don't even want to fly that plane ever again.

Tips for that lesson.
Do not accelerate. You can float through the entire thing.
Using the LB and RB buttons to gradually turn helps get from most of the targets to the next targets. There are a few you'll need to use the stick for, though.
Flying through the arrow or just below it is good enough to pass.

Fuck sake. That highway bullshit and keeping your average down.

Finally. After hitting the ground like three times and getting a 7.55 average I passed.

I owe the person who suggested gliding.

Tried getting on and giving that a shot yesterday. Played the first mission, which was some stupid capture the intel thing in jets which turned out to be an absolute waste of 5 minutes, not including the 10 minute load time into the event and the wait for the game to start.

Next gametype put me in a lobby and a bunch of people had already left so I was going to have to wait again, so I said fuck it and shut down my console.

Something about the atrocious load times this game has just makes me not want to play it. The gametypes are too quick and not fun enough to warrant the stupid load times, just to be done in no time in a gametype that wasn't even fun.

Ugh.

And today, it kept putting me in totally empty lobbies. Over, and over, and over. I managed to play one mission where it actually invited people to play with me. Then it put one of them back in the lobby with me, but it was a totally empty lobby so it didn't matter. Every time I joined another lobby, it was empty.

Wtf. Game has turned out to be a massive disappointment in the long run. Never delivered on half the shit they promised, and either everyone has stopped playing, or they still can't even fix server issues.
